First, I get eaten by a giant squid. Then, I get chased around the castle by man-eating, evil mistletoe! Honestly, I'm beginning to think that this castle and these grounds are out to get me or something. What did I ever do wrong? Okay, so maybe I've accidentally dropped a little too many pieces of rubbish around the grounds in the past, but that's no reason for everything and everyone to be trying to kill me and make me miserable! What's going to happen next? Am I going to get sucked down into the shower drain?

I think I still smell like the inside of a squid...

Well, Quidditch tryouts were definitely interesting. I made the team somehow. I don't get it. I mean, I guess I'm not that terrible, but yeah. I wish they just would stop letting me on the team. It'd be better to do that then quit. Though either way my parents would be disappointed, I think. Don't worry about Colin though. He's doing okay! He could've definitely made the team though.

Classes are classes. I mean, they could be better, but they also could be worse.

I can't believe I'm another year older. And I can't believe it's another school year. Kind of a lame entry, I know, but I'm off to celebrate. Or...read in the common room.

I still can't believe I survived that trip. It had to be the most amazing thing to ever happen to me other than when Hannah kissed me, but I still can't think about that without hurting.... I have a huge gash on my calf from where a branch attacked me and I swear Samanatha's monkey kept glaring at me...along with it's mother. How did that giant monkey not kill us all? And all of those other monkeys! I thought we were dead for sure. I didn't tell my mum and dad about that part...

Anyway, I hope I get to go to next year's Cup. Maybe it'll be somewhere even better!

I think we should have classes over the summer so everyone can stay here and be with each other for the next two months!
